New Melbourne Rebels coach Rod Macqueen senses this All Black team is bound for greatness.
The 1999 World Cup winner has made the claim ahead of Saturday night's test in Melbourne, saying they appear to be building into a side set to rival the dominant All Blacks of the mid 90s.
Macqueen says the All Blacks are reaping the rewards of continuity in captaincy and coaching over the past few years. He says incumbent captain Richie McCaw will rank with the likes of Whineray, Lochore, Meads and Fitzpatrick when his career ends.
